The Course

The Golf Course - Boston Golf Club is a golfer’s retreat. This picturesque, classic New England site has been left virtually undisturbed by construction of the course. A minimal amount of earth has been moved to construct bunkers, tees and greens. Every effort has been made to contour the course with the flow of the natural landscape. Walking the course gives one a sense it has always been there, and a feeling that you are much further from downtown Boston than the short 25-minute commute.

The Style - Boston Golf Club gives every player the sensation of a 100-year old masterpiece. The best way to play is never obvious, always challenging, and simply stunning at every turn. Golfers are treated to a truly enjoyable and sometimes relaxing walk through the woods.

The Architect - A thorough search of the world’s leading architects was conducted to find the right person and style for our club. It was a challenge, given that the old-world style is not prominent in today’s golf course design. Fortunately, the search led to Gil Hanse. He has a deep respect and appreciation for the classics, and brings this unrivaled passion to every project. Gil shares our desire for the game as it was to be played and is at the forefront of a new breed of natural landscape golf course architects. This vision is evident in every shot you take at Boston Golf Club.
